  Administrative regulations for international students of qufu normal university
  Chapter I general provisions
  Article 1 in order to strengthen the standardized management of international students and ensure and improve the quality of international students' training, these regulations are formulated in accordance with the administrative measures for the recruitment and training of international students (order no. 42 of ministry of education, ministry of foreign affairs and ministry of public security) and in the light of the actual situation of our university.
  Article 2 the term "international students" as mentioned in these provisions refers to foreign students who are not of Chinese nationality according to the nationality law of the People's Republic of China and have been registered in our university to receive degrees education or non-academic education.
  Article 3 international students shall perform the following obligations according to law during their study in school:
  (1) abide by Chinese laws and regulations;
  (2) abide by the school rules and regulations of qufu normal university;
  (3) to study hard and complete the required studies;
  (4) to cultivate good character and behavior, respect teachers, be civilized and polite;
  (5) to pay tuition fees and other expenses in full and perform the corresponding obligations of the scholarships obtained;
  (6) other obligations prescribed by laws and regulations.
  Article 4 international students shall enjoy the following rights in school according to law:
  (I) participate in various activities arranged by the education teaching plan of the school;
  (ii) use education teaching resources provided by the school;
  (3) to participate in student groups and recreational and sports activities within the prescribed scope;
  (4) to apply for scholarships for international students;
  (5) obtain a fair evaluation in respect of moral level and academic performance, and obtain the corresponding academic certificate and degree certificate after completing the school work;
  (6) other rights prescribed by relevant laws and regulations.
  Chapter ii admission and registration
  Article 5 all international students admitted by our university shall present the admission notice, their passport and JW201/JW202 form to the foreign student office for registration.If you fail to enroll as scheduled, you should ask for leave from the foreign student office and attach relevant certificates.A leave of absence shall not exceed two weeks. If the leave is not taken or is overdue, the student shall be deemed to have been disqualified.
  Article 6 within three months after the enrollment of new students, the school shall review their enrollment qualification and health status in accordance with relevant national regulations on international student enrollment.Anyone who has obtained the student status through fraud or favoritism shall cancel the student status after verification.
  Article 7 after the enrollment of new students, those who pass the physical examination for foreign personnel in the bureau of inspection and quarantine of economic ningxia shall be allowed to register and obtain their school status.Those who have been confirmed to be suffering from diseases prohibited from entering China as prescribed by law in the physical examination review shall immediately leave the country and return home, and their admission qualifications shall be revoked.Short-term curable by the foreign student office to retain enrollment for one year.Those who retain admission status do not have a school status, go home for treatment, and pay for themselves.After treatment and rehabilitation within the period of retaining the admission qualification, the applicant shall submit the application for admission before the freshman in the next year, and the foreign personnel of jining inspection and quarantine bureau shall pass the physical examination, and then go through the admission procedures again.Those who still fail to pass the examination or fail to go through the admission procedures after the examination shall be disqualified.
  Article 8 international students shall pay tuition fees, registration fees and accommodation fees as required.In the first two weeks of each semester, I will go to the foreign student office for registration, and the graduate student will go to the graduate student office for registration.Failure to pay tuition and other fees or other non-registration requirements will not be registered.
  Chapter iii payment and refund of tuition fees
  Article 9 tuition fees shall be paid at the time of registration, academic students shall pay in lump sum according to the academic year, and non-academic students shall pay in lump sum according to the term of study.
  Article 10 students with academic qualifications shall pay tuition before the start of the new term within the normal term, which shall be paid according to the academic year.
  Article 11 tuition payment may be made by cash or China construction bank savings card.
  Article 12 students who apply for and complete the dropout procedures may apply for refund of tuition fees according to the following standards:
  Those who have completed the formalities of withdrawing from school before the semester starts shall be fully refunded.
  If you complete the formalities of withdrawing from school within two weeks after the beginning of the school year, the tuition shall be returned 75%;
  If students complete the formalities of withdrawing from school within three weeks after the beginning of school, the tuition shall be returned 50%;
  If you drop out after three weeks, the tuition will not be refunded.
  Chapter iv visa application and administration
  Article 13 an international student who applies for a visa or residence permit for the first time must provide the following materials:
  (1) the original copy of my valid passport and visa;
  (2) fill in the application form for international student visa and residence permit of qufu normal university, and submit a recent one-inch half-length, full-face, crown free photo;
  (3) the original certificate of residence registration in qufu;
  (4) original "visa application form for foreign students studying in China";
  (5) original letter of admission;
  (6) original health certificate issued by the entry-exit quarantine authority;
  (7) documents relating to visa and residence permit applications.
  Article 14 when applying for visa or residence permit again, international students shall provide the following materials:
  (1) the original copy of my valid passport and visa;
  (2) fill in the application form for visa and residence permit for international students, and submit a recent one-inch half-length, full-face, bareheaded photo;
  (3) the original certificate of residence registration in qufu;
  (4) in case of the following circumstances, the original health certificate shall be submitted: the previous residence permit shall be valid for another three months after expiration.
  Article 15 a new student holding an "X" visa must, within 30 days of coming to China, intend to study for more than 6 months and hold other visas, go to the foreign student office to apply for residence permit within the valid period of the visa.The valid period of application for residence permit shall not exceed one year in principle.Application for residence permit for students with academic qualifications who enter the university during or after the commencement of study will normally be extended to one month after graduation.Students applying for residence permits must go to the entry-exit quarantine department for physical examination.
  Article 16 if an international student applies for transfer while studying, he/she must go through the transfer procedures at the foreign students' office, and bring the transfer recommendation letter issued by the foreign students' office and his/her passport to the entry-exit administration for visa and residence permit transfer.
  Article 17 if an international student applies for dropping out of school during the study period, he/she must go to the foreign student office to complete the procedures of dropping out.The applicant will bring a letter of introduction issued by the foreign student office and his/her passport to the immigration and exit administration for visa and residence permit changes and will leave the country within the valid period of the visa.
  Article 18 international students during the reading, if it is found that the passport expires, must go to the office register put on record, then go to local embassy to apply for issue a new passport, issue a new passport after deliver the copy of the international student office, to the administration of entry and exit visas or residence permits within 10 days change procedure, and to the international student office for record.
  Article 19 if an international student loses his/her passport, he/she should inform the international student's office in time, go to the exit/entry administration bureau for the declaration of loss of his/her passport, and go to the Chinese embassy or consulate in China to apply for the passport.Make up the new passport and go to the foreign student office for filing.
  Article 20 visa processing time and requirements:
  (1) international students who apply for visa and residence permit for the first time shall fill in the application form for visa and residence permit for international students of qufu normal university after the payment of registration fee;
  (2) international students who re-apply for a visa or residence permit shall apply to the foreign student office 30 days before the expiry of the period of stay indicated in the visa.
  (3) visa applications will not be granted if one of the following situations occurs:
  1. International students who violate laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China;
  2. International students who violate the management regulations of international students in our university;
  3. International students who fail to apply for visas and residence permits within the specified time;
  4. International students who fail to pay the relevant fees during their study in China;
  International students with infectious diseases.
  Article 21 application process:
  (1) fill in the application form for visa and residence permit for international students of qufu normal university;
  (ii) submit the application materials to the responsible personnel of international student management for review and sign for confirmation;
  (3) submit the payment certificate to the international student management office for signature and confirmation;
  (4) submit the application form for the visa and residence permit for international students of qufu normal university to the responsible person who issues the application letter for handling the certificate for foreign students.
  Article 22 a visa is an identity certificate for a foreigner to stay in China legally. A stay in China beyond the validity of the visa is an illegal stay, and an illegal stay in China will be imposed with a warning, a fine of 500 yuan per day, or detention.If the circumstances are serious, the offender shall be ordered to leave the country.If the change of residence permit information is not completed within 10 days, a warning or fine will be imposed according to law.If the circumstances are serious, the offender shall be ordered to leave the country.
  Chapter v teaching management
  Article 23 the school shall implement the "2+1" semester system, with two teaching semesters in autumn and spring and one short term in summer in each academic year.The fall semester is 17+1 weeks, of which 15 weeks are theoretical teaching. The added week is 3 days for make-up lessons, 2 days for teachers and students sports meeting, and 2 weeks for review of exams.The spring semester is 17 weeks, including 15 weeks of theory teaching and 2 weeks of review.The summer term is four weeks and is mainly used for practical teaching.
  Article 24 except for special cases, in principle, the teaching management of international students shall refer to the student management measures of Shanghai institute of political science and law.International students should study according to the school's teaching plan.On the premise of ensuring teaching quality, the school can adjust the compulsory courses and elective courses for international students according to their psychological and cultural characteristics.
  Article 25 for international students who receive a higher degree in a foreign language (education), the dissertation may be written in the corresponding foreign language. The abstract of the dissertation shall be Chinese.Whether the dissertation defense is in a foreign language shall be determined by the school.
  Article 26 the school shall organize international students to carry out teaching practice and social practice, but international students shall abide by relevant provisions concerning foreign affairs.
  Article 27 an international student who USES other teaching equipment and obtains other materials other than the teaching plan shall submit an application, which shall be examined and approved by the school in accordance with the relevant provisions and procedures.
  Article 28 the foreign student office shall be responsible for the accreditation of international undergraduate students.In the first semester of the senior year, the foreign student office will communicate with the secondary schools, arrange the thesis tutor for each undergraduate, determine the thesis topic and give the thesis guidance.
  Article 29 the graduate student office shall be responsible for the teaching arrangement of international students (postgraduate students) and shall timely contact the foreign student office for the allocation of tutors.The foreign student office and the graduate office shall assist the tutor to make the training program according to the graduate training program of related majors in our university.International students (graduate students) must fulfill the requirements set forth in the training program and the education teaching process arranged by the graduate office, and actively participate in various activities arranged by the school, the college and the class.
  Chapter 6 transfer, suspend, resume and drop out
  Article 30 international students who transfer to another major shall fill in the application form for transfer to another major of qufu normal university and study in the major they apply for after the approval and approval of the university.
